Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 10/04/25

Friday was a beautiful day and the wind did drop out, but no one ran to the ocean.

Lewes Harbour Marina reported that nine boats fished the Outer Wall and the Ice Breakers with sand fleas and green crab and all caught sheepshead.

Breakwater Tackle on the fishing pier at Cape Henlopen State Park said it was a good day for catching sheepshead on the pilings with sand fleas or green crabs. Spot were caught on bloodworms or Fishbites and small flounder were taken on minnows or Gulp! fished on bucktails close to the pilings.

Old Inlet Bait and Tackle reported the Inlet rocks gave up sheepshead and tog to anglers who used sand fleas or green crab. Blues between 14 and 18 inches were caught on mullet from the beach.
