Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 10/06/25
Fishing was slow again on Sunday, although the weather was nice.
Lewes Harbour Marina said the Katydid ran to ocean structure and caught a grand total of four flounder. Looks like my advice to go flounder fishing until sea bass season reopens was not so good. The boats that fished the Outer Wall with sand fleas and greens crab caught sheepshead and a few tog.
Breakwater Tackle on the fishing pier at Cape Henlopen State Park reported croaker, spot, small flounder and blues caught on Sunday. Bloodworms or Fishbites for the croaker and spot. Mullet for the blues and minnows for the flounder.
Old Inlet Bait and Tackle told us lots of small tog and a few sheepshead were caught from the Inlet rocks on sand fleas and green crab. It was a slow pick for blues on the beach.
