Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 10/13/25

Sunday, we had a storm warning and lots of rain. Breakwater Tackle and Old Inlet Bait and Tackle said they would be closed on Sunday along with Lewes Harbour and Hook ‘em and Cook ‘em. If anyone went fishing, they need to seek help from a mental health professional.

I do have one bit of news from Maryland. Mark Spagnola of Berlin has set a new Maryland State Record for longfin albacore. He caught the 78-pound beauty on board the Instigator on September 21 and it replaced the 74-pound previous record that had stood for 21 years.

In looking at the long-range marine forecast, it appears that we won’t be doing much fishing next week either. Seas in the ocean are going to be running to 5 feet right through Friday.
