Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 10/24/25
Thursday saw decent sea conditions but according to both of my reporting stations only one boat ran out into the ocean. The weekend is looking very good with light winds and moderate seas. I would expect good catches of sea bass with a few nice flounder.
Lewes Harbour Marina said none of their boats ran on Thursday.
Hook 鈥榚m and Cook 鈥榚m reported a private boat did run to the ocean and returned with a limit of tog.
Old Inlet Bait and Tackle said sheepshead and tog were caught from the Inlet on sand fleas and green crab. Reports from the beach indicated surf fishing was less than productive. One customer fished all morning and into the afternoon and caught nothing. That鈥檚 bad news since fall is prime surf fishing season.
