Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 10/25/25

Friday saw decent sea conditions and excellent fishing in the ocean.

Lewes Harbour Marina said only one boat went out on Friday and the Sea Jay II brought in a mixed bag of sea bass, tog and triggerfish.

No one answered the phone at Breakwater Tackle on the fishing pier at Cape Henlopen State Park, but I suspect a few spot, croaker and kings were caught on bloodworms from the pier.

Old Inlet Bait and Tackle seems to be having problems with their phone as it goes to some sort of answering service. Here too I would have to guess that tog and sheepshead are being caught on sand fleas and green crabs out of the Inlet. Stripers should be around at night on live eels.

Hook 鈥榚m and Cook 鈥榚m told us the boats that fished for sea bass had their limits or close to their limits on Friday.
