Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 10/28/25
Monday was the beginning of a week with weather that makes Halloween look like Christmas. Tuesday we will have a gale warning and seas will run to 9 feet during the rest of the week. No boats ran from Lewes or Indian River Inlet on Monday and I don鈥檛 expect any to run the remainder of this week. At least we had Saturday and Sunday with great fishing to carry us until the Weather Gods decide to bless us with more light winds and small waves.
Old Inlet Bait and Tackle was the only shop with a positive report. They said tog and a few sheepshead were caught out of Indian River Inlet on sand fleas and green crab on Monday. The beach was too sloppy for surf fishing.
Wednesday is the ASMFC striped bass hearing at the Hyatt Place in Dewey Beach. Be there if you can.
