House & Senate Republican Leaders Ask for Cooperative Effort to Protect Food-Insecure Delawareans

Delaware House and Senate Republican leaders have sent a letter to Governor Matt Meyer requesting that his administration and DHSS Secretary Christen Linke Young identify and redirect any available funding resources to support the SNAP Program. The add that if no funds are available, then a special session of the General Assembly should be called to authorize an alternative path to ensure uninterrupted SNAP benefits for Delawareans in need.
