Gov. Meyer Calls for Extraordinary Session of DE General Assembly on November 13

The Delaware Economic and Financial Advisory Council is projecting a $400-million revenue shortfall over the next three years. Friday, Governor Matt Meyer called the General Assembly to an extraordinary session to address this projected shortfall, which he blames on federal tax cuts for the wealthy.

The General Assembly will return to Legislative Hall on Thursday, November 13 at noon to discuss potential legislative solutions. One proposed solution supported by the Governor would decouple state and federal tax laws to stop those deductions from hitting state revenues.
