Bridgeville Man Charged with DUI after Crash Thursday Evening

A two vehicle crash on Hickman Road west of Greenwood Thursday evening sent three people to area hospitals. Delaware State Police say a Trailblazer was northbound on Linden School Road around 5:30, entered the intersection and was struck by a Charger that was westbound on Hickman Road. Troopers contacted the driver of the Trailblazer who showed signs of impairment. Further investigation showed the stop sign at Linden School and Hickman Roads was not in place.

The driver of the Charger was treated for non-life threatening injuries. The driver of the Trailblazer, a 39 year old Bridgeville man, was hospitalized with critical injuries – he is charged with DUI and other offenses. A passenger in the Trailblazer – a 58 year old Seaford woman – was also hospitalized with critical injuries.
