Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 12/01/25

Sunday saw small craft advisories up once again. It is fitting that we should have bad weather for my last regular report for 2025. I will have reports when I have something good to report, but this is the last daily one for this year.

As you can guess, no boats left the dock at Lewes Harbour Marina or Hook ‘em and Cook ‘em.

Old Inlet Bait and Tackle told us that, believe it or not, but tog are still being caught out of the Inlet rocks on sand fleas or green crabs. Surf fishermen are catching skates and spiney dog sharks.

I know it is hard to believe, but better fishing is on the way. Sooner or later, probably later, we will have a run of big striped bass in the surf, the Inlet and in the ocean inside of the Three-Mile-Zone.
