Warming Centers Open in Delaware as Bitter Cold Persists

The Delaware Department of Health and Social Services (DHSS) has multiple facilities open as warming centers from today, Tuesday, January 27th, through Friday, January 30th. The facilities in Sussex County will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The warming centers include Thurman Adams State Service Center on 546 South Bedford Street in Georgetown and the Laurel State Service Center on 31039 North Poplar Street in Laurel. Seaford’s DHSS warming center is at the Anna C. Shipley State Service Center on 350 Virginia Avenue. Warming Centers in Kent County include the James W. Williams State Service Center on 805 River Road in Dover and the Smyrna State Service Center on 200 South DuPont Boulevard, STE 101 in Smyrna.聽
