More Snow This Season in Northern Delmarva

It’s been a snowier than usual winter for some parts of the country. According to the National Weather Service – Mount Washington in New Hampshire has topped it’s normal snowfall of 163” through February 12 – and has recorded 173.6” this year through Thursday!

Closer to home Wilmington, Delaware has recorded 15.7” this year compared to a normal snowfall of 12.8”.

However Salisbury, which normally sees about 5” by this time of year this year has only recorded 4-inches as of Thursday. 

Wallops Island is 4″ under its normal snowfall – recording just over 2″ this season.
