Seaford Man Arrested for 6th Offense DUI after Traffic Stop near Harrington

A traffic stop Friday night in Harrington led to the arrest of a Seaford man for DUI and other offenses. A State Trooper on patrol spotted a pickup with an equipment violation and stopped the truck. The driver – 44 year old Marrco Bryant of Seaford showed signs of impairment. He was arrested after performing standardized field sobriety tests. A search of the truck turned up empty alcohol bottles and a computer search showed Bryant’s license was suspended and he had five prior DUI convictions. 

Bryant was taken to Troop 3 where he was charged with the below listed offenses: 

  • 6th Offense DUI (Felony)
  • Driving While Suspended or Revoked
  • Improper Tail Lights

Bryant was arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 11, and committed to the Sussex Correctional Institution on a $5,101 cash bond.
