UPDATED: Bethel Elect 2 to the Town Council

UPDATED – 02/21/26 – Voters in Bethel have elected Larry Davis and incumbent Mark Shaver to the Town Council. Each will serve a three year term. Davis and Shaver will take their Oath of Office on Tuesday, March 3, 2026 at the March Town Council meeting.

ORIGINAL STORY – 02/20/26 – Voters in Bethel head to the polls on Saturday to elect 2 to the Town Council. There are three candidates running for the 2 open seats – Larry Davis and David Stuckey are challenging incumbent Mark Shaver – each seat is for a 3 year term. Incumbent Kathy Layfield did not file for re-election.

The polls are open from 1 to 4pm at the Community Hall.

An election certification meeting will be held at 5pm at Town Hall after the polls have closed.
