Two Men Face Drug Charges Following Traffic Stop in Milton

Two men were arrested in Milton following a traffic stop. At the time Milton Police conducted the stop around 3 AM on Sunday, February 22nd, the operator, 30 year-old Paul Hagerman displayed clear indicators of impairment. Hagerman was arrested and formally charged with DUI Drug Related, Resisting Arrest, and Speeding in excess of Posted Limits. The passenger, 35-year-old Lamont Hazzard, who was found to be in possession of Crack Cocaine, Crystal Methamphetamine, Heroin, and other drug paraphernalia, was arrested and formally charged with three counts of Possession of Counterfeit Substance and one count of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Both individuals were committed to the Sussex Correctional Institute by Justice of the Peace Court 11 pending arraignment.
