DSP Arrest Dover Man on Felony Drug Charges

A Dover man has been arrested on felony drug charges. Members of the Kent County Governor’s Task Force went to Artis Drive in Dover Monday to locate 42 year old Christopher Naylor, who had a warrant for failure to appear in the New Castle County Court of Common Pleas. On arrival, detectives spotted Naylor leaving a tent in the back yard of the property. Naylor was arrested and detectives saw drugs and paraphernalia in plan view in the tent.

A search of the tent turned up the following:聽

  • Approximately 10.13 grams of methamphetamines
  • Digital scale
  • Drug paraphernalia

Naylor was taken to Troop 3, where he was charged with the crimes listed below:

  • Possession with Intent to Distribute a Controlled Substance, Tier 2 (Felony)
  • Possession of a Controlled Substance, Tier 2 (Felony)
  • Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Naylor was arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 11 and committed to Sussex Correctional Institution on a $15,001 secured bond.
