Organized jointly by United Way of Delaware (UWDE) and Spur Impact, the annual 24-hour fundraising marathon invited the public to support their favorite nonprofit by donating at DoMore24Delaware.org. More than 600 Delaware nonprofits set up individual giving pages on the event website, allowing them to take advantage of more than $300,000 in matching gifts, cash prizes, and incentives donated by dozens of sponsor organizations from across the state.

“Generosity is powerful, but organized generosity is transformative,” said Tierra Fair, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, United Way of Delaware. “Do More 24 Delaware reminds us of what is possible when an entire state comes together with a shared purpose. Tonight, we celebrate the nonprofits across Delaware who show up every single day for our communities — and because of the generosity we saw today, these organizations will continue doing what they do best: serving, advocating, and lifting up Delawareans all year long.”

Since its founding in 2016, Do More 24 Delaware has raised nearly $15 million for Delaware’s nonprofit community.

“There’s a unique energy that happens when Delawareans come together and rally behind an important cause like our nonprofits,” said Charlie Vincent, Executive Director of Spur Impact. “Do More 24 Delaware isn’t just about the numbers; it’s about putting these organizations in the spotlight and giving them the resources to do what they do best: serve our communities. Whether it’s your first time giving or your fiftieth, everyone plays a part in this success — and our Delaware nonprofits are able to reap the rewards.”
