Five Arrested for Attempted Murder, Assault at American Legion in Easton, MD


Five people have been arrested and charged with attempted murder as well as assault and other charges after Easton, Maryland police were called to a fight in progress at the American Legion on Glenwood Avenue in Easton on March 1st just before 12:30 AM. Police arrived and encountered a large crowd. At the time, due to the chaos and lack of cooperation from individuals, Officers were unsure of what had occurred. A short time later, Officers responded to the University of Maryland Shore Medical Center at Easton in reference to a someone who had walked in with stab wounds. After they conducted interviews and obtained and analyzed surveillance video, officers learned that several individuals assaulted the victim inside the American Legion, and one of the individuals stabbed him more than once. Due to the severity of the victim鈥檚 injuries, the victim was flown to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore. He was then released days later from Shock Trauma. Officers arrested 37-year-old Tymor T. Horne of Cambridge, identified through surveillance video as the suspect who stabbed the victim. Also arrested were 22-year-old Ah鈥橬iyah S. Fitchett of Cambridge, 50-year-old Charlie Blanchfield of Greensboro, 19-year-old Jasiyah C. Henry of Denton, and Brandi S. Parker of Greensboro. The arrests were carried out March 12th and 16th by Easton Police detectives with assistance from the U.S. Marshals Capital Regional Fugitive Task Force. All five individuals were released to the custody of the Talbot County Detention Center.
