New Delaware Court Administrator Named


The Delaware Supreme Court has announced that Kenneth J. Kelemen, who has been serving as Acting State Court Administrator, has been appointed to the position on a full-time basis. Chief Justice Collins J. Seitz, Jr. praised Kelemen’s leadership, noting his eight years at the helm of the Judicial Information Center and his expertise in technology and court operations. Seitz said Kelemen’s combination of leadership skills, technical knowledge, and approachability positions him well to guide the Judicial Branch through a future full of both challenges and opportunities. Kelemen has been with the Delaware Judicial Branch since 2007, beginning as the Family Court’s first electronic court reporter. Over the years, he has developed a deep understanding of courtroom procedures, court technology, and case processing workflows. In response to his appointment, Kelemen expressed gratitude and enthusiasm for the role, emphasizing his commitment to modernizing court technology and improving operational efficiency to better serve the public. He also credited the Administrative Office of the Courts’ team for their support in achieving these goals.
