Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 04/04/26

Friday, we had warm weather and the first report of flounder from the Back Bays.

Old Inlet Bait and Tackle reported the first flounder caught from India River Bay. Right now, I would fish the last of the incoming and the first of the outgoing on warm days with lots of sunshine. Live minnows would be the prime bait. They also reported the first tog of the year from the Inlet and a slot striper caught a few days ago.

Carol at Taylored Tackle registered three Delaware Citation Crappie. The first went to Kenneth Hudson for a 1.55 pounder caught on a minnow out of the Mispillion River. The second went to Ronald Littleton for a 1.05-pounder and the third went to James Warner for a 1.60-pounder. Both caught on minnows out of the Nanticoke River.
