Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 04/10/26

Thursday was cold and windy.

Patty at Captain Bones in Odessa said striped bass have been caught from Woodland Beach on bloodworms and bunker. The stripers range in size above and below the 28 to 31-inch slot.

Steve at Smith Bait in Leipsic reported that striped bass have been caught at Collins Beach, Greens Beach and Woodland Beach on bloodworms and cut bunker. Here too the stripers range in size above and below the 28 to 31-inch slot. A few have been taken inside the slot as well. White perch are available in the local tidal creeks and spillways on bloodworms or minnows.

Old Inlet Bait and Tackle said a few keeper tog have been caught from Indian River Inlet on sand fleas. Small stripers are taken on bucktails or plugs at dawn or dusk. Skates and dog sharks are in the surf.
