Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 04/15/26
Tuesday was like a summer day and the wind was less than hurricane force, but fishing was still slow.
Lewes Harbour Marina said a few boats fished the Lewes and Rehoboth Canal with minnows and they caught a few small flounder and striped bass. Some boats tried the outer wall with sand fleas, but if they caught any keeper tog they didn鈥檛 show them off.
Old Inlet bait and Tackle said they heard of a few over slot stripers caught from the North Jetty on soft baits with a lead head.
Dan at Dan鈥檚 Tackle said stripers are beginning to show at Broadkill Beach on bloodworms and Fishbites bloodworms.
Carol at Taylored Tackle told us a 32-pound blue catfish was caught from the Nanticoke River on a chunk of gizzard shad. Crappie are in the river and spillways on live minnows.
