DSP Investigating Deadly Bicycle Crash East of Laurel Sunday Night

A man riding a bicycle was killed Sunday night as he rode in the westbound lane of travel on Shiloh Church Road near Turkey Knob Lane east of Laurel. Delaware State Police say that just after 9pm an Explorer, driven by a 75 year old Delmar man struck the bicycle and the rider was ejected. The bicycle rider was taken to an area hospital where he died.  The driver of the Explorer was not injured.
