Delaware State Police Investigating Thefts and Attempted Thefts from Vehicles in Rehoboth Beach Community

Delaware State Police Troop 4 Detectives are currently investigating several thefts and attempted thefts from unsecured vehicles that occurred last week in the Sea Air Village community in Rehoboth Beach. During the overnight hours, the individual (s) either entered or attempted to enter unsecured vehicles, removed property, and fled. Anyone with information regarding these incidents should contact Delaware State Police.

Troopers are offering the following crime prevention tips:
• Lock your vehicle doors.
• Keep your windows up when the vehicle is unattended.
• Remove valuables from your vehicle (secure them in the trunk when necessary)
• Report any suspicious activity by calling 9-1-1.
