House Fire in Preston, Occupants Displaced

The cause of a house fire that occurred late yesterday afternoon, April 22nd, on Birch Drive in Preston, Caroline County, is under investigation. The fire originated on the outside of the house. Damage to the structure and contents of the one-story, single-family home is estimated to be around $200,000.
