Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 05/05/26
Monday, we had small craft advisories up and from the long-range forecast, it appears as though they will be up until Friday.
Lewes Harbour Marina said a few boats tried to fish Delaware Bay, but if they caught anything, they didn鈥檛 share that information. A couple of boats were seen drifting by the shop in the Lewes and Rehoboth Canal. Once again, if fish were taken the shop was not told.
Old Inlet Bait and Tackle said a few striped bass and black drum were scattered along the beach from the Inlet to 3Rs Road with the best bait being sand fleas.
Hook 鈥榚m and Cook 鈥榚m told us while no boats left Northside Marina they did hear of some stripers caught from the Southside Jetty early in the morning. Bucktails and plugs such as Bombers, SP Minnows and Rebels should do the job.
