Five members associated with the Sin City outlaw motorcycle club were sentenced after pleading guilty to participating in a criminal organization tied to a multi-state motorcycle theft scheme involving more than $100,000 in stolen motorcycles. The convictions stem from a multi-jurisdictional investigation by Maryland鈥檚 Attorney General鈥檚 Organized Crime Unit into a coordinated theft operation spanning Worcester, Anne Arundel, Baltimore, and Prince George鈥檚 counties, along with parts of Virginia and Pennsylvania. Maryland Attorney General Anthony Brown said the group targeted Harley-Davidson motorcycles from dealerships, motorcycle events, and attendees at the 2024 Ocean City BikeFest, with investigators linking the operation to at least 19 stolen motorcycles across the three states–Maryland, Virginia, and Pennsylvania. Authorities said the defendants used coordinated thefts, stash houses, altered license plates, and interstate transportation to dismantle and resell motorcycles and parts for profit. As part of their sentences and probation, the defendants are barred from contact with outlaw motorcycle clubs and prohibited from attending future motorcycle events, including BikeFest.
