Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 05/16/26

Friday, we had the Lewes Harbour Marine Canal Flounder Tournament. There were over 500 anglers registered in the contest making it one of the largest on record.

When the final scores were tallied at 4:00 p.m. Aaron Teawillinger came out on top by a wide margin with his 5.13-pound flounder. Charles Carpender was in second place with a 2.92-pound flounder and close on his heals was Alex Sperratore with a 2.91-pound flounder. Stacey Poe took the Ladies Prize with a 2.01-pound flounder and Adrien Foseman walked away with the Kids Prize by catching a 1.92-pound flounder. The special Aqua Clear Prize went to Rodney Hawk for his 2.01-pound flatfish.
