DSP Investigating Home Invasion in Georgetown Friday Night
A home invasion Friday night around 10:30 on Lawson Road in Georgetown is under investigation by Delaware State Police. Police say in 83 year old woman activated her panic alarm after an unknown male suspect forced his way into her home as she opened her front door. The suspect pointed a handgun at the victim and demanded to see another unknown person he believed was inside.
The victim locked herself in a bedroom and activated her panic alarm – the suspect searched the residence – and left.
The suspect is white and wore a gray hoodie and may be driving a black pickup truck.Â
