ADA Ramp Improvement Project to Start in Salisbury Soon

A new ADA Ramp Improvement project is getting underway in Salisbury. This project will bring new and updated ADA ramps in the areas of Church Street, Doverdale and beyond – helping to create safer and easier access for residents who navigate the City’s sidewalks.

Mayor Randy Taylor says that “By upgrading ADA ramps, we are helping create more accessible sidewalks for residents and visitors while continuing to invest in infrastructure that benefits the entire community.”

Construction will begin in coming weeks and temporary sidewalk interruptions may occur during work hours. This project is funded through the Community Development Block Grant program.
