DSP Investigating a Fatal Shooting near the Concord Pond Boat Ramp Thursday Night

A call for a vehicle crash Thursday night is now a homicide investigation. Delaware State Police were called just before 9 to German Road east of Seaford where they found the driver of the vehicle – a 17 year old Laurel man – with an apparent gunshot wound and began lifesaving efforts. The victim was taken to an area hospital where he died from his injuries.
DSP Homicide Unit has learned the victim was shot near the Concord Pond boat ramp by an unknown suspect.
