Harrington Man Sentenced to 10 Years for Child Sexual Abuse Crimes

A Harrington man has been sentenced to 10 years in federal prison after being convicted of possession of child sexual abuse material and hands-on abuse of a minor. According to court documents, 33-year-old Todd Fisher solicited, received, and exchanged child sexual abuse material involving prepubescent children, including children as young as seven years old. Fisher used an online messaging platform and an encrypted cloud storage and communication service to send and receive child sexual abuse material. The investigation also revealed that Fisher sexually assaulted a minor child known to him on multiple occasions. Upon Fisher’s release from prison, he will be required to serve a 10-year term of supervised release and register as a sex offender.
