Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 07/05/26

Saturday, we hit 104 at my house.

Dan at Dan’s Tackle told us croaker and spot were caught on bloodworms and Fishbites from Broadkill Beach by the few folks who braved the heat on this holiday.

Lewes Harbour Marina said the Outer Wall provided sheepshead and triggerfish for the private boat that fished there with sand fleas and green crabs.

Breakwater Tackle on the fishing pier at Cape Henlopen State Park saw spot and croaker caught from the pier. Kayak anglers working the pilings at the end of the pier caught sheepshead and triggerfish.

Old Inlet reported sheepshead, flounder and triggerfish caught from the inlet. The surf provided kings along with plenty of skates.

Hook ‘em and Cook ‘em had sea bass and flounder from the head boats. Fenwick Shoal provided Spanish mackerel, blues and triggerfish.
