Dover PD Investigating Shooting Incident at Village of Westover

Multiple homes and vehicles in the Village of Westover in Dover were damaged in a shooting that occurred Monday evening just after 5. Police were called to East Broadstairs Place where they located about 40 spent shell casings in the roadway. Police learned that 10 unoccupied vehicles and five homes were struck by gunfire – no injuries have been reported.

Video surveillance shows a maroon SUV was traveling through East Broadstairs Place when several suspects got out of a dark-colored sedan and opened fire on the SUV. Both vehicles left the scene before police arrived and have not been located.
