The Somerset County Sheriff’s Office and Somerset County Emergency Medical Services have partnered to equip every sheriff’s patrol vehicle with an automated external defibrillator (AED) through a grant from the Somerset County Health Department. Deputies will receive AED training, allowing them to begin lifesaving care during cardiac emergencies before EMS personnel arrive.
