DSP Investigating Fatal Pedestrian Crash West of Harrington
July 14, 2026/
Delaware State Police are investigating a crash involving a pedestrian just before 11 Monday night west of Harrington. Police say a Silverado was westbound on Whiteleysburg Road when the 17 year old driver came upon a pedestrian lying in the roadway. The driver was not able to stop and struck the 62 year old pedestrian from Harrington.
The pedestrian was taken to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead – the driver was not injured.
