Sunday, the ocean was still a bit upset and inshore fishing was slow. Closer to the beach, fishing was decent.

Steve at Smith Bait in Leipsic told us slot stripers are being caught at the Augustine Wall on peeler crab, jigs and rattletraps. The jetty at Bowers Beach has seen a few keeper flounder on jigs with peeler or squid strips.

Dan said one of his customers caught a pair of slot stripers out of the Broadkill River at first light by working top water lures along the bank.

Lewes Harbour Marina said the only fish they saw on Sunday were croaker caught out of the Lewes and Rehoboth Canal.

Old Inlet reported kings, spot and croaker were caught from the surf.

Hook ‘em and Cook ‘em said the head boats had flounder, sea bass and ling.
