Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 07/21/26
Monday the ocean was reasonably calm during the morning, but got a tad nasty in the afternoon.
Lewes Harbour Marina said sheepshead and triggerfish were caught by private boats that fished the Outer Wall and the Ice Breakers with sand fleas and green crabs. Those who worked the Lewes and Rehoboth Canal found flounder on minnows or green bucktails with Gulp! crawfish. Croaker were caught out of the Canal on bloodworms or Fishbites.
Old Inlet Bait and Tackle reported that blues were available in the morning on metal lures while tog and sheepshead were caught on green crabs during the day.
Hook ‘em and Cook ‘em told us boats that got an early start and made it out to the Hambone, returned with bluefin tuna. The head boats had sea bass and flounder at the Old Grounds.
