Grants-in-Aid Bill Signed by Governor Meyer Last Week

Governor Matt Meyer last week signed the last of the State’s money bills – Senate Bill 337 – the Grants-in-Aid Bill. This over $99.4-million bill provides supplementary appropriations to certain Grants-in-Aid recipients for FY 2027 – including fire and ambulance companies, senior centers, community agencies, veterans organizations, non-profits and more throughout the state.
The bill was passed in both the State Senate and House early in the morning of July 1st with just one vote in opposition from 21st District Senator Bryant Richardson.
