Grants-in-Aid Bill Signed by Governor Meyer Last Week

Governor Matt Meyer last week signed the last of the State’s money bills – Senate Bill 337 – the Grants-in-Aid Bill. This over $99.4-million bill provides supplementary appropriations to certain Grants-in-Aid recipients for FY 2027 – including fire and ambulance companies, senior centers, community agencies, veterans organizations, non-profits and more throughout the state.

The bill was passed in both the State Senate and House early in the morning of July 1^st with just one vote in opposition from 21^st District Senator Bryant Richardson.
