Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 07/22/26

Tuesday was a weather mess. We started with a rain shower and ended with a severe thunderstorm watch. Along the way there was a small craft advisory.

Dan at Dan’s Tackle said the few people who fished Broadkill Beach caught croaker and spot on bloodworms and Fishbites.

Lewes Harbour Marine told us the only fish they saw all day were croaker and flounder caught from the Lewes and Rehoboth Canal.

Breakwater Tackle on the fishing pier at Cape Henlopen State Park had the best news of the day. They reported excellent spot fishing from the pier with some croaker and keeper flounder to round out the action.

Hook ‘em and Cook ‘em said the head boats had a slow pick of sea bass and flounder. Private boats caught Spanish mackerel and blues at Fenwick Shoal.
