Missing Pocomoke Child found Dead, Vigil to be Held at 7pm Tonight at Cypress Park

A search for a missing 4-year old in Pocomoke City turned tragic Sunday. Worcester County Sheriff’s office assisted Pocomoke Police with the search. Officials located the child, but in spite of life-saving efforts by law enforcement and EMS personnel, the child was pronounced deceased at the scene. The Worcester Bureau of Investigation has assumed the investigation.

A vigil will be held at 7pm Sunday at Cypress Park in Pocomoke in support of the child’s family, first responders and the Pocomoke City Community. Everyone is encouraged to attend and show their support.
