Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 09/14/26

Aaron at Lewes Harbour Marina said the threat of rain must have scared off everybody because there were no boats out on Sunday.

Breakwater Tackle on the fishing pier at Cape Henlopen State Park must have closed early for the same reason because no one answered the phone at 4:15 p.m.

Hook ‘em and Cook ‘em reported one flounder that they cleaned caught out of Indian River Inlet. Other than that, they had nothing to report because no boats left their docks.

Rick’s Bait and Tackle told us nice sized croaker were caught from the fishing pier at Massey’s Landing. Bloodworms and Fishbites would be the best baits. Blues showed up at Indian River Inlet and went after metal lures. It is possible that sheepshead were caught on sand fleas.
