Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 09/28/26

There was a gale warning up on Sunday and with a steady rain for most of the day. I doubt anyone was fishing and if they were, they must love a fish much more than me.

Looking ahead to next week the weather and the water should settle out by Tuesday and those who have the time may be able to wet a line. What they will find remains to be seen.

We have had a week or so of strong winds, big seas and lots of rain. None of the above is good for fishing. The wind and seas will erode the beaches and will also move around the bottom structure. Perhaps you recall the USS Radford that was placed on the Del-Jersey-Land Reef. It was broken in two pieces and moved a considerable distance by a smaller storm than what we just experienced.
