A Lewes Man was Injured in Crash on Route 1 near Milton Tuesday

A Lewes man was injured in a crash Tuesday morning around 11 on Route 1 at Eagles Crest Road. Delaware State Police say the 75 year old driver of a Mazda was stopped at the stop sign on Eagles Crest Road, but failed to remain stopped and entered the path of a Hyundai that was southbound on Route 1. The Lewes man was taken to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries and was cited for failure to remain stopped and no proof of insurance. The driver of the Hyundai was not injured.
