The Talk of Delmarva started as a radio station licensed to Rehoboth Beach, Delaware.  The license was originally operated by WLRB from 1976 to 1980.  In 1980, Joseph C. Giuliani, Gene McCoy, and David Schoumacher purchased WLRB and filed to change the call sign to WGMD.  For several years, WGMD played an easy listening format.  However, David was a journalist at heart and convinced Rush Limbaugh to broadcast on an FM frequency.  Until then Rush was only heard on the AM frequency.  

David understood the community and helping businesses.  He attended many seminars about marketing and met Chuck Mefford many years ago.  Chuck has written books on branding and travels around the country helping grow small businesses into well know brands.

While Joe, Gene, and David have all passed away, Mark Giuliani (Joe's Son) continues to operate WGMD and purchased WUSX branding both as The Talk of Delmarva.

The home page provides you current weather, lists the schedule on both stations, allows you to listen to the stations, and has current news postings.  Additionally, you can get specifics on weather throughout Delmarva, ask legal questions on the Tipping the Scales of Justice, and there is a poll that provides us feedback on our company.
