Beat the Peak Alerts Issued During Today’s Extreme Heat

With temperatures expected to reach 100 degrees today, Delaware Electric Cooperative and Choptank Electric Cooperative have issued Beat the Peak alerts. Delaware Electric’s alert runs from 5 to 7 p.m., while Choptank Electric’s is in effect from 4 to 7 p.m. Members are asked to reduce energy use during those times.
