Bill Introduced to Prohibit Selling, Distributing or Offering Expanded Polystyrene Foam Products


Legislation has been introduced into the Delaware General Assembly that would prohibit retail stores and wholesalers from selling, distributing or offering for sale expanded polystyrene foam products. Senate Bill 130 was introduced Wednesday by Senator Trey Paradee. The measure would include foam food service packaging, coolers and loose fill packaging.

The measure if awaiting consideration in the Senate Environment, Energy & Transportation committee.
