Hermann-Financial

Following months of negotiations, a bipartisan supply chains measure passed the House Energy & Commerce Committee this week. The vote was unanimous–44-0. Congresswoman Lisa Blunt Rochester spoke about the importance of the legislation…

The bipartisan legislation would create a whole-of-government approach to mapping, monitoring, and proactively strengthening American supply chains, bringing manufacturing jobs back home, and lowering costs for American consumers. The Congresswoman also talked about the consequences of not taking action on this issue…

She says the bottom line is supply chains touch the lives of every American, and strengthening those supply chains means making our lives better and products cheaper.

After unanimously passing through the Energy & Commerce Committee, the Promoting Resilient Supply Chains Act will now be eligible for consideration on the full House floor.
