Blessing of the Combines in Snow Hill Saturday

The 25th annual Blessing of the Combines takes place in downtown Snow Hill on Saturday. The blessing celebrates local agriculture and a bountiful harvest and honors farm families. The fun begins at 10am and the parade of combines begins at 11am. The blessing will be by Pastor Ken Elligson of Spence Baptist Church. The Combines will remain in town until 3pm. There will be plenty of food and entertainment, a petting barnyard, hayrides and a pedal tractor pull for kids. Reminder – the entire downtown area of Snow Hill will be closed for the festival – and Route 12 from Salisbury into Snow Hill will close around 11am – for about 30 minutes during the parade.
