Breaking & UPDATED: Crash near Dagsboro Leaves PA Man Dead


UPDATED – 5/29/21 8:15am – A crash Friday night just after 10 has left a Pennsylvania man dead. Delaware State Police say a pickup truck was southbound on Dagsboro Road. An SUV traveling behind the pickup struck the rear of the truck causing it to rotate and overturn on its passenger side. The SUV also went off the roadway and spun into a tree. The 62 year old Lebanon, PA man operating the SUV was taken to Atlantic General Hospital in Berlin where he was pronounced dead. The driver of the pickup was not injured.


Fire, EMS and police are on the scene of a crash with a person critically injured just north of Dagsboro. It happened as the rain was coming through the area around 10:07 p.m. Friday at Firetower Road and Dagsboro Road.

Two vehicles were reportedly involved with one auto overturned and a person trapped.
